New Home Construction Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a New Home Construction Manager to lead and manage our Superintendents, framing and permitting teams. We are looking for someone to take us to the next level both in product and processes. You will be the main point of contact for all production. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with training new staff and leading the field team with schedules, trade issues, quality and municipality communication and their processes. The understanding of new home construction is required for this position. You must be competent in the Uniform Dwelling Code (UDC), have great attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The goal is to provide our customers, Trade Partners and coworkers with top rate customer service while delivering a high-quality new construction home.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: This list is not all inclusive

• Direct the day to day operations of the production, permitting and framing staff
• Manage scheduling software, templates and cycle time
• Train Superintendents and Permitting Coordinators
• Manage SWPPP and safety protocols and guidelines
• Create and maintain even flow dig schedule
• Ensures timely completion of homes
• Champion of quality inspection process on all completed homes
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
• Liaison between land development and construction
• Help ensure clean and safe neighborhoods and jobsites
• HOA Board participation as assigned including meetings, ACC approvals and budget
• Provide training and understanding of our scopes of work, blueprints and specifications


Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
• 5+ years’ experience in new residential construction management
• Ability to read architectural plans
• Strong understanding of residential construction processes
• Proficiency with computers, specifically Microsoft Office Programs including Teams and Excel
• Experience with setup and maintenance of residential production scheduling system
• Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
• Must be detail and process oriented.


Work Environment:

• Business casual, fun and positive, dynamic and fast paced
• Working hours are Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm.
